High Cotton is a band made up of "seasoned" musicians whose collective experience gives their original songs a depth and quality that's timeless. Proud of their many band journeys over the years…Folk, Jazz, Pop, Celtic, Rock and Country - their different sensibilities and perspectives find its way into their songs - reflecting experiences only gained by having 'lived some life'. No 9 Coal is among a new wave of acoustic bands that blend bluegrass, rock and jazz to create a sound that is eclectic and refreshing. No 9 Coal respectfully pushes the boundary of traditionalism and sometimes downright disregards it. The band's goal is to create music that is as challenging for them to play as it is intriguing to fans. No 9 Coal is comprised of three members all from Salisbury, North Carolina - Tommy Farmer on acoustic guitar.vocal, Keith Earnhardt on 5-string banjo and Eric Webster on upright bass.
